POETRY, MY BEST FRIEND

Poetry is always with me,

it accompanies me every day,

sometimes it wakes me in the middle of the night

to keep it company.

And I love talking to it,

it knows all my desires,

I talk about waterfalls, flowers and valleys,

and it reminds me of the princess and her kisses.

And the conversation goes far, on the wings of verses,

we fly through the labyrinths of feelings

and live the enchantments of life.

Poetry is for me the essence of everything,

a field where I plant and harvest emotions,

poetry is my best friend.
