RECIPE FOR A POEM

INGREDIENTS:

Blue sky              =    one whole portion

Stream                =    one

White herons          =    several

Butterflies           =    a flock

Wildflowers           =    plenty

Love and emotion      =    plenty

Country woman          =    one

Imagination           =    to taste

 Should any of these ingredients be missing,

You can use children's smiles, kisses, friends or birds,

and still achieve a wonderful result.

This is a pastoral poem.

With each ingredient you add,

include a touch of imagination.

Start with the blue sky; place it over the stream.

In the shallowest part of the stream,

place the white herons.

Place the wildflowers along the banks of the stream,

with butterflies fluttering above them.

For a beautiful look, brush the sky with a few white clouds.

The country woman should sit by the edge of the stream.

Add love and emotion, and it is ready.

If it didn't turn out well,

you probably lacked imagination.

RECEITA PARA UM POEMA

INGREDIENTES:
Céu azul               =    uma porção inteira
Riacho                  =    um
Garças brancas    =    várias
Borboletas            =    um bando
Flores do campo   =    bastante
Amor e emoção     =    bastante
Camponesa          =    uma
imaginação           =    a vontade
 
Na falta de algum desses ingredientes,
pode-se usar sorrisos de crianças, beijos,
amigos, pássaros, e mesmo assim
consegue-se um ótimo resultado. 
 
Trata-se de um poema campestre.
A cada ingrediente colocado acrescente
um pouco de imaginação.
 
Comece pelo céu azul, coloque-o sobre o riacho,  

na parte mais rasa do riacho coloque as garças brancas.
Coloque as flores do campo as margens do riacho,

e as borboletas voando sobre elas.
Para dar uma bela aparência, pincele o
céu com algumas nuvens brancas.
A camponesa deve se sentar a beira do riacho.
Coloque o amor e a emoção e está pronto.
 
Se não ficou bom,

provavelmente faltou imaginação.
